U-Connect Crew is a youth based and youth driven volunteer team that is about youth learning new skills, meeting new people and showcasing how youth can make a difference in the world around them. It is divided into three components: U-Do, U-Write, and U-Talk.

U-Do is a project management and leadership development aspect of the U-Connect Crew. Their job is to learn about leadership, explore their community and develop community service projects of their choice. The youth will decide the path of their projects and gather all necessary resources for their services. Youth can be involved for a project, for an event or just to help out as they are able.

U-Write is a communication and expression based team. Their job is to help develop the website, get involved with all aspects of our online and print publications and publish Clixmag.ca, the online youth newsletter for the RYSA. Recently RYSA and Richmond News have partnered up and planning to insert the newsletter into Richmond News Youth Section.

The U-Talk is a team designed to be a voice for youth and with youth. They collect information relevant to youth in our community and make presentations, hold information sessions, and provide suggestions to community groups, businesses and government or decision makers. If you want to know what youth think then talk to the talk crew!

The U-Connect Crew meets once a week on Friday Night from 6:00pm to 8:00pm. Whatever your goals are we can find the connection and the opportunity to make a difference in your life and the world around you!
