Coverletter Tips
Cover letters improve your chances of getting an interview
Submitting a resume with a cover letter and addressing that letter to the right person can greatly increase your chances of getting a job interview. According to a recent survey conducted by Office Team, a Lower Mainland recruitment agency, 93% of employers surveyed said that cover letters were important in their decisions about who to interview. A well written cover letter for each job you apply for gives you the chance to tell the employer what sets you apart from others, show that you did your research and tie your experience and skills to that specific job. Remember employers notice the small things, and so should you!
